The modern refugee crisis of the 121st century motivated the construction of an independent zine that carried inside it stories of refugee struggle and success across fragmented refugee communities across the Bay Area.
In an era of disinformation and complexity fatigue on social media, each issue re-engages the community with minimal layouts, bold single colors and large typography.
