Olympic swimmer and underwater portrait photographer Junya Nishigawa has a wide range of subjects, from rock bands to ballet dancers, each suspended in a liquid void. The challenge was to unite the photography with an impactful visual language for the upcoming Tokyo exhibition and online presence.
The result was a multimedia solution combining print and digital experiences that placed Nishigawa’s original photography at the forefront, enriched with minimal graphics drawn from Nishgawa’s name.
